WHAT IS Forê Sacré?

Forê Sacré is a Palm Bay, FL West African Drum & Dance workshop and performance company. In the Susu language of Guinea, West Africa, Forê Sacré  means "Black Mystic". We aim to preserve the West African cultural traditions by providing educational workshops that will give participants the opportunities to experience and learn traditional drumming and dancing. Forê Sacré encourages and support artistic creativity by preserving West African diverse cultural heritage, and making the arts more widely available in communities. We will bring West African drumming and dance to schools, community groups and large and small performance venues. read more »

PERFORMANCES

Forê Sacré performs 15-30 minutes of high-energy dance and music at your school, community, wedding and party venue. Features condensed version of the full ensemble, including drummers and dancers.

WORKSHOPS

We provide educational workshops for children, teens and adults in the traditional dance and drumming styles of select West African ethnic groups. The dance class includes a warm-up and breakdown of dance steps.

We offer ongoing classes in both drumming and dancing. Classes include beginning, intermediate and advanced level instruction. Private lessons are also available upon request.
